Amy S. Greene Environmental Consultants, Inc. has multiple 

Cartographers/Geographic Information System (GIS) Professionals on staff who work 

closely with our staff scientists to create digital maps for your use in environmental 

planning, land-use, and on-going assessment projects. Our cartographers create a 

variety of maps using Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) and GIS programs. Other tools 

that we incorporate into the mapping process are Global Positioning Systems (GPS) 

with sub-meter accuracy, aerial photographs, and other remotely sensed data which 

can help in the decision making process. The combination of these tools allows us to 

produce maps and analyze natural and cultural resource data that pertains to your 

community.

Amy S. Greene Environmental Consultants, Inc has assisted numerous municipal 

Planning Boards and Environmental Commissions  in planning activities including 

preparation of greenways & open space plans, natural resource inventories, and 

environmental reviews  for proposed development projects.  All CAD and GIS mapping 

projects are designed to aid the client in the ongoing analysis and  decision making

process of natural resources management.  Our company is capable of providing 

mapping in a variety of digital formats  including AutoCAD Map 2002 Drawing (.dwg), 

ArcGIS 8.1 GeoDatabase, ArcView 3.2 Shapefile, ArcCAD 14 (PC ArcInfo) Coverage, 

ArcInfo Export (.e00), and Microstation Drawing (.dgn).  Funding for environmental 

inventory and planning reports may be available from the New Jersey Department of 

Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Association of Environmental Commissions .
